Recently, the group standard "Evaluation Requirements for Cage-Free Meat Chicken Production" was officially released by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA) and made available to the public. This standard was led by IQC as the primary drafting unit, with participation from multiple organizations including China Agricultural University, Sichuan Agricultural University, Sunner Group, Tyson China, Sun Valley, Minhe Group, Tumanxian, Jiulian Group, Yunhaiyao, Sodexo, Yonghui Group and others.

The newly released standard specifies detailed requirements for production management, animal welfare, environmental control, health, and disease prevention in cage-free meat chicken farming. It provides technical guidelines and evaluation tools to promote standardized and sustainable practices in the industry. The introduction of this standard helps enhance the quality of livestock products and lays a foundation for advancing animal welfare concepts and supporting the green transformation of the food sector.
Next, IQC will collaborate with multiple partners to carry out promotion, pilot demonstrations, and certification evaluation activities. These efforts aim to facilitate the practical application of the standard among production enterprises and promote high-quality, sustainable development in China’s livestock industry.
