IQC Awarded as "The 2025 GoldenKey · Sustainability (ESG) Value Creation" Outstanding Enterprise at the 8th CIIE发布时间: 2025-11-11

On November 7, 2025, the sideline event of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), "Capitalize on Trends, Drive Sustainable Value – ESG and Sustainability Leadership Themed Event", was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Owing to its outstanding practices in regenerative agriculture and food chain sustainability, IQC was selected and awarded as one of the first batch of "The GoldenKey · Sustainability (ESG) Value Creation" Outstanding Enterprise.

In 2023, faced with issues such as soil degradation and high carbon emissions in agriculture caused by the overuse of chemical agricultural inputs etc., IQC collaborated with industry partners to establish Regenerative Agriculture Working Group. The group took the lead in promoting the development of regenerative agriculture standards tailored to China's background. In 2024, China's first group standard, "Regenerative Agriculture Planting Management Practice," was officially released and aligned with the international Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) framework. Launched in the same year, the "Farm Carbon Management Platform" provides technical support for monitoring and accounting greenhouse gas emissions, further enhancing the practicality and appeal of regenerative agriculture practices.

As of November 2025, 22 pilot planting bases have obtained regenerative agriculture certification, spanning 10 provinces and autonomous regions including Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Fujian, etc. The promoted area exceeds 1.3 million Mu (equivalent to approx. 86,667 hectares) of farmland, with certified crops expanding from corn, sugar beet, oats, wheat, soybeans, and potatoes to higher-value crops such as tea and apples, demonstrating broad potential for further adoption. Through systematic innovation in standards, certification, the carbon accounting platform, and industry promotion, the working group has provided a technical pathway and practical model for the development of regenerative agriculture in China.

This award not only affirms IQC's efforts in advancing regenerative agriculture practices but also highlights the strong commitment of IQC and its partners to the path of sustainable development. Looking ahead, IQC will continue to deepen innovations in standards and technology application, supporting the green transformation of Chinese agriculture and contributing more "IQC Strength" to global ESG development.
