Dr. Xiong obtained his degree in food science from Hefei University of Technology and has accumulated over 20 years of industry experience with a focus on quality assurance, animal welfare, and sustainable agriculture within the food sector. He previously held positions in quality and production management at Unilever, while also serving as general manager for Star Farm of Metro China. Since 2010, he has served as Head of IFS Asia Office and IFS IP Auditor.
Dr. Xiong possesses extensive knowledge in quality and food safety management throughout the food chain, having provided consulting services to numerous food enterprises in China. During his free time, he collaborated with industry experts to edit publications such as Theory and Practice of Food Safety Culture, Food Foreign Body Management Guideline, Food Safety Management Practice Collection, and Food Supplier Management Guideline, etc.
