Sisi leads the Aquaculture Welfare project, which offers welfare assessments for farms, guidelines for corrective actions, and both onsite and online training. The project encompasses over 20 farms in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hainan, and Anhui provinces that specialize in Tilapia and Grass carp production.
Sisi actively supports cage-free certification programs as well as traceability systems. Additionally, she is involved in various welfare projects concerning broiler chickens, pigs, and dairy cattle. As the deputy editor of the Animal Welfare Official Account, she curates up-to-date information on animal welfare to share with all stakeholders.
Sisi being fellowship of the International Farm Animal Welfare Fellowship (IFAWF) and possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Aquaculture.
