Animal Welfare Project Manger
Hongwei is responsible for managing Animal Welfare Projects. He possesses extensive industry experience, including expertise in chicken breeding, incubation, commercial chicken breeding, slaughtering and processing, feed production, and veterinary services.
Hongwei is specifically accountable for overseeing the certification program of cage-free laying hen farms. In 2023, he successfully assisted 15 farms in obtaining cage-free certifications. Additionally, Hongwei excels in designing cage-free devices and transforming traditional cage models. His recommendations not only meet standards requirements but also enhance production efficiency.
He was employed at Tyson China, he was entrusted with animal welfare audits and training for McDonald's broiler chicken farms. Furthermore, Hongwei has been involved in various animal welfare projects encompassing broilers, pigs, and dairy cattle. In 2023 alone, he successfully implemented four demonstration projects on animal welfare practices.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and Animal Medicine.
